HAVEN OF ASCENSION
SUSTAINABILITY SUMMIT
February 22nd – 25th, 2023
Gonzales, Louisiana nestled between Baton Rouge and New Orleans
Welcome to the Sustainability Summit
Sustainability means meeting our own needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own. The motivations behind sustainability are often complex, personal and diverse. It is unrealistic to create a list of reasons why so many individuals, groups and communities are working towards this goal. Yet, for most people, sustainability comes down to the kind of future we are leaving for the next generation.
We’ve brought together a group of community leaders to speak on their sustainability practices and how we can benefit from these resources, tools, and lifestyle habits.
Topics covered during Haven of Ascension’s Sustainability Summit include:
- Conscious Living and Sustainability
- Soap Making
-
Benefits of Propolis
-
Natural Living
-
Canning Food
-
Emergency Preparedness
Sustainability as a value is shared by many individuals and organizations who demonstrate this value in their everyday activities and behaviors. Individuals have played a major role in developing our current environmental and social circumstances. The people of today along with future generations must create solutions and adapt. Come learn to live in harmony with nature.
